Angel Locsin admits spending her birthday with Phil Younghusband in Hong Kong

Angel Locsin, the lead star of the fantaserye "Imortal" which aired its finale episode yesterday, has admitted that she spent her birthday in Hong Kong with Philippine Azkal's Phil Younghusband.

Angel Locsin revealed that the footballer, who reportedly wooing her, unexpectedly turned up during her 3-day trip in Hong Kong for her 26th birthday celebration - she was born on April 23, 1985.

Since Phil followed a day before Angel's arrival in Manila, the Kapamilya star and the popular footballer said to have spent only a day together with Angel's friend Bubble Praiso in Hong Kong. Phil reportedly gave the birthday girl a Givenchy bag! Whew!

AJ Perez' 'Maalaala Mo Kaya' episode to air on April 30 | AJ Perez MMK episode trailer

AJ Perez will be featured on ABS-CBN's drama anthology 'Maalaala Mo Kaya' (MMK) on April 30 (Saturday). It was the last acting portrayal the actor did before he died in a road accident on April 17.

AJ Perez was ecstatic when the teaser of the episode was first shown. He immediately posted the status below on Twitter which showed how excited he was.

“Pinalabas na daw yung teaser ng mmk? Who saw it? How was it? :),” AJ tweeted.

Beforehand, he already told his Twitter fans how it was hard for him doing the role.

"Mmk taping again. Nakakapagod pala tumakbo sa ilalim ng araw. Haha!" AJ posted on Twitter.

The scriptwriter of the MMK episode Benson Logronio recently tweeted that the episode will surely touch the viewers

“AJ Perez breathed life to 1 of the 2 main characters of the latest ep I wrote for MMK. It’s his curtain call on April 30. He’ll make us cry,” Logronio said.

Reports also say that the life-story of AJ Perez will also be featured on MMK this April 30.

Willing Willie's comeback, scheduled on May 7th! | Willing Willie Poll Results

"Willing Willie should not return! Everything is over with Willing Willie and Willie Revillame."

This is what 3,673 (63%) respondents of the Noypistuff Poll are saying.

The poll was started when controversial host Willie Revillame announced the show's 2-week break starting on April 11 after sponsors pulled out their ads on the show. There were also 2294 (38%) people who said that Willing Willie should be given a chance and resume airing on TV.

The majority of the voters of our poll may get disappointed with this news.

According to recent reports, Willing Willie will be coming back on May 7, 2011 (Saturday) - which means that the announced 2-week break has been extended for almost another 2 weeks.

Cristy Fermin confirmed the comeback on her show "Paparazzi". She said Willie Revillame already talked to the TV5 heads and set May 7th as the date of the show's return on air.

As previously reported, the show will showcase new games and segments together with its new LED dance floor which is said to be a first on Philippine TV.

Sam Concepcion performed Michael Jackson's "Gone Too Soon" during the Gigger Boys' interview on the Buzz on April 17th as a tribute to his co-member AJ Perez. Sam sang it beautifully and I have been viewing the video on Youtube every now and then.

Now, the song is on my phone's playlist since somebody converted it to MP3! :D It was posted on Sam's Facebook Fan Page. Sam has two "main" fan pages on facebook - the other one's inactive but it has the most likes. It is at this page that I found the download link:

When AJ Perez was still living, he was a member of an all-male Star Magic dance group called "Gigger Boys". The group is also composed of equally good-looking and talented Kapamilya young actors: Enchong Dee, Robi Domingo, Sam Concepcion, Arron Villaflor, Enrique Gil, and Benjamin De Guzman (newest member), Dino Imperial, and Chris Gutierrez.

Gigger Boys was formed in 2009 and they have bonded so much since then. No wonder why it was hard for them when they heard of AJ Perez passing away.

On the April 17 episode of "The Buzz", Sam Concepcion, Robi Domingo, Arron Villaflor and Enrique Gil didn't help but to get emotional.

First up was the teary-eyed Robi who was asked by host Boy Abunda why he was crying.

"Sayang, e... sayang, e. You may say that the person has unlimited potential. Iba si AJ, hindi lang unlimited potential," the former Pinoy Big Brother Teen housemate replied.

When asked of his memories of AJ, he said, "Kasi, whenever wala si Tito Gerry [AJ's father] para sunduin siya, ako personally ang naghahatid sa kanya sa bahay. And sa time namin na yun, napag-uusapan namin lovelife niya, lovelife ko, lahat—anything under the sun. Ikinukuwento ko na sa kanya lahat."

"Si AJ kasi, hindi lang siya celebrity, hindi lang siya dancer, hindi lang siya Gigger Boys, hindi lang siya Kapamilya sa amin, he was one of our brothers. Kaya sobrang sakit," he added.

Robi was then asked for his message to AJ.

"AJ, alam namin na nasa mabuting lugar ka. You're with God now. Always take care of yourself, bro. We'll always pray for you."

It was then Arron's turn who said that AJ's death was painful for him. These were the things he said.

"Masakit, kasi malalapit na kaibigan kami. Kung paano nabuo ang grupo namin. Alam n'yo yun, napaka-solid namin. We work as one."

"Parang ang sakit lang. Hanggang ngayon, hindi pa rin namin tanggap."

"Ewan ko, magulo pa rin ang isipan ko ngayon. Parang napakaimposible. Siyempre, masakit para sa aming lahat. Lalo na sa mga nakakakilala sa kanya, di ba?"

"Kaya noong narinig namin ang balita, parang nagtawagan kami, 2 a.m."

"'Bro, alam mo na ang balita kay AJ? Bro, wala na si AJ.' Akala ko, nagloloko lang sila. 'Bro, saan naman galing ang balitang 'yan?' sabi ko. 'Bro, it was confirmed. Patay na si AJ," Arron said.

Sam Concepcion was next and he shared that it was hard for him to accept right away.

"Actually, noong malaman ko yun, parang hindi mo pa kayang i-accept agad, e. Parang you're in shock, you're in denial."

"Until right now, ang nararamdaman ko, parang ganoon pa rin. It was surreal.

"When I found out about it, I was trembling. My heart was pounding. Ganoon pa rin po ang feeling ko hanggang ngayon."

"And the way I remember AJ, he was just a happy soul. Masayahin lang po siya, kung bakit kami nagtatawanan. Most of the laughs we shared is because of AJ," said Sam.

Enrique Gil also can't believe of the tragic incident that happened to their friend. He said,

"I can't believe na wala na si AJ."

"Nalaman ko na wala na siya noong tumawag sa akin si JM de Guzman sa taping. Sabi niya, 'Bro, totoo ba ang balita?' Sabi ko, 'Ano?' 'Huwag kang mabibigla, ha. Si AJ raw, wala na.' 'Pre, hindi totoo 'yan. Teka lang, tawagan ko si AJ."

"May sumagot, parang si AJ. Sabi ko, 'Bro, anong nangyari sa 'yo?' Si Tito Gerry pala yun, yung tatay niya ang sumagot. 'Ken,' tawag niya sa akin Ken. 'Ken, I can't talk right now.' Sabi niya, 'AJ is gone.'

"Mabilis daw ang takbo nila, tinamaan daw sila ng truck. Sabi ko, 'Tito, I can't believe it. I'm so sorry.' Sabi niya, 'Just tell your friends na lang. I'm sure they want to know.'"

After the interview, Sam Concepcion did a heartfelt rendition of Michael Jackson's "Gone Too Soon" which he sang beautifully.

The boys also took park during the interment mass of AJ and Sam sang the song once again.

Well, I heard him singing in person and I guess it was pleasant naman. An oh, he can play a lot of instruments, too. Whew! The actor is very talented, indeed.

Diether Ocampo and Kris Aquino's relationship, "ibang level na"!

Diether Ocampo admits that his relationship with Kris Aquino is getting stronger.



"Wala akong dapat i-explain, and I'm very happy at this point na 'yong pagkakaibigan namin ay naging mas malalim. Naging parang ibang level na," Diether Ocampo told SNN, recently.

Yeah, the Kapamilya hunk said they're just friends and people should not put other meaning to it.

"Mas mature na kami ngayon. Wala naman talaga akong dapat sabihin because, as far as I'm concerned, walang dapat intrigahin doon," the actor added.

Hmmmmm... Oh well, it came from Diether himself but noone really can control what goes to people minds.

Diether and Kris worked together last year in a Metro Manila Film Fest entry, "Dalaw" where they played husband and wife.

By the way, Diether Ocampo and Kris Aquino's loveteam has a following already. Their fans actually created a Facebook fan page and call the loveteam, "Kristher". :D

It seems like it's not all about that. Several tweets actually are telling an incident in Justin Bieber's recent concert in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Justin Bieber said to have shouted "Hello Manila!" instead of "Hello Kuala Lumpur!" or perhaps "Hello Malaysia".

I am trying to find a video to attest that the incident really happened but I found none. Anybody who went to see the concert can confirm this?

A couple of photos which are said to be honeymoon scenes of the main characters, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and Edward Cullen(Robert Pattison) on the upcoming movie "Breaking Dawn" have leaked online!

They were posted on Twitter by Summit Entertainment but were later deleted. The pics show Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattison very intimate in bed with their clothes off.

The scenes were said to have taken 12 hours to perfect.

"Breaking Dawn" is a movie adaptation of a novel with the same title, the fourth and final part in the "Twilight" series by Stephenie Meyer. The other parts of the series had been released the past years.

Manny Pacquaio recorded the song with Dan Hill who was wowed by the boxer's performance of his song.

"I was immediately drawn by the honesty and the gentleness of his performance. It was like 'wow'," Hill told Reuters.

Among the artists who already released a version of the song were Tina Turner, Tammy Wynette, Rod Stewart, Barry Manilow and Engelbert Humperdinck.

According to reports, Pacquiao's "Sometimes When We Touch" will be released globally on April 28, 2011. :D

AJ Perez Burial Update: Schedule and details announced!

After holding it at La Salle Greenhills for the first few days after his death, the wake of late young actor AJ Perez is now being held at The Christ the King Parish on Greenmeadows Avenue in Quezon City. Public viewing will open from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and 9 p.m. until midnight.

Aj Perez' family also has chosen a date for the actor's burial.

According to recent updates, AJ Perez will be laid to rest at the Manila Memorial Park in Parañaque City on Tuesday, April 26, 2011. The cortege route and other details are yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, Ogie Diaz said via Twitter that Aj Perez' burial will be at 12 noon. Fans are advised to go directly to the Manila Memorial Park at around 10 a.m.

"Sa mga fans namang gustong makipaglibing, dun na lang daw kayo dumiretso sa Manila Memorial Park, Pque ng mga 10am," Diaz tweeted.

ABS-CBN, on the other hand, reportedly will cover the event via live telecast.

Update: AJ Perez' twitter account has this status update below:

"For Aj's interment at Apr 26, there's a 9AM mass @Christ the king. For fans, just proceed to Manila Memorial, Parañaque at around 10AM."

When deceased young actor AJ Perez got his first acting job in "Star Magic Presents: All About A Girl" in 2006, he was immediately paired with actress Lauren Young. They worked in a series of TV projects together as a loveteam after that, which spanned for around 3 years.

“Sobrang maganda siya. “Sabay po kaming ini-launch ni Lauren sa Star Magic Batch 13. We really didn’t talk that much before kasi nagsisimula pa lang kami although we are friends but after two years, she’s my best friend in the show. Sa mga babae, siya ang pinaka-close sa akin.” AJ said in an interview a few years back.

“She’s very simple. Unlike other girls, simple lang siya manamit. Plus we have the same interests. We like the same music. We both like the foreign band Fall Out Boy. ‘Yung gusto kong jacket, gusto rin niya even if panlalaki. We have many things in common,” AJ added.

Having all those good memories with the late actor, there's no wonder why Lauren was among those who got devastated when the news about AJ Perez untimely and tragic demise broke. On her Twitter account, Lauren shared that AJ was more than a loveteam to her. He was also her friend and brother, as well.

"I'm going to miss you so much. My loveteam, my friend, my brother. All I know is you're in a better place now and I won't question that," Lauren tweeted.

"Aj. You were like a brother to me. You'll always be in my heart. May you rest in peace," the actress added.
