'American Idol 10' Top 6 Elimination: Casey Abrams sent home!

Another surprising elimination round happened in American Idol tonight as it sent home Casey Abrams who previously was 'saved' by the judges after being voted off in the early part of the competition. The judges get to use the 'save' vote only once in the entire season.

Scotty McCreery and Jacob Lust joined Casey in the 'bottom three'. Many thought Jacob was to leave the competition tonight, however, as host Ryan Seacrest announced Casey got the lowest number of votes and thus eliminated.

In tonight's episode, American Idol 9 runner-up Crystal Bowsersox performed her new song “Riding With the Radio”. Grammy winner Bruno Mars also did a performance of his single "The Lazy Song".

The 5 remaining contestants whose chances of getting the title are getting high are: Haley Reinhart, Jacob Lust, James Durbin, Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery.

"Hello Manila" is currently trending on Twitter and I thought it's because the Holy Week has ended and many have reached their homes in Manila from their vacation in the province and thus, they tweet the city a "Hello".

It seems like it's not all about that. Several tweets actually are telling an incident in Justin Bieber's recent concert in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Justin Bieber said to have shouted "Hello Manila!" instead of "Hello Kuala Lumpur!" or perhaps "Hello Malaysia".

I am trying to find a video to attest that the incident really happened but I found none. Anybody who went to see the concert can confirm this?

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattison's 'love scene' on 'Breaking Dawn' photos leak!

A couple of photos which are said to be honeymoon scenes of the main characters, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and Edward Cullen(Robert Pattison) on the upcoming movie "Breaking Dawn" have leaked online!

They were posted on Twitter by Summit Entertainment but were later deleted. The pics show Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattison very intimate in bed with their clothes off.

The scenes were said to have taken 12 hours to perfect.

"Breaking Dawn" is a movie adaptation of a novel with the same title, the fourth and final part in the "Twilight" series by Stephenie Meyer. The other parts of the series had been released the past years.

"American Idol 10" viewers once again voted off another male!

Said to have been over-exposed, Stefano Langone, 22, is the second male to be eliminated from the competition since the Final 13 started performing. He is the third male to be voted off and second male to be sent home - Casey Abrams was saved by the judges in one elimination episode. For the first 4 elimination episodes, 5 girls already left the competition.

So who's going home next?

Here's Noypi's prediction of the 'bottom 3' for next week.

Hailey Reinhart and Jacob Lust have been in the 'bottom three' for more than once. Casey Abrams, on the other hand, got the least number of votes once but was saved by the judges.

With this history, I think one of them is finally going home next week. :D

By the way, The "American Idol 10" finale will be on May 24 and 25.

Kylie Minogue Manila Concert scheduled in July 2011

Australian Pop singer, songwriter and actress Kylie Minogue will be visiting Manila, Philippines this July 2011 for her "Aphrodite" Concert Tour! This was announced by eventologist Tim Yap on his Twitter account just moments ago.

"Confirmed! Kylie Minogue "Aphrodite" Tour coming to Manila 1st week of July 2011. Will announce complete details soon! Get ready, Manila," Yap tweeted.

Kylie Minogue, 42, is an award-winning international artist with more than 60 million record sales. Her movie, "The Delinquents" was also a box office hit in Australia.

Released last year, "Aphrodite" is the latest album of the singer - her 11th which came 3 years after her last studio recording. Three singles released from the album have all topped the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs chart.

PARIS - Bipolar disorder has leapt into the headlines after Welsh actress Catherine Zeta-Jones checked into a mental health clinic for treatment for the condition.

Zeta-Jones's representative said on Wednesday she was receiving therapy for "bipolar II," one of several categories for the disorder.

Following is a factfile:

-- Previously known as manic depression, bipolar disorder describes mood swings that can range from very low (severe depression) to very high (severe mania). The swings may occur a few times a year or as often as several times a day.

-- Between one and two percent of the general population may be afflicted, with men and women in equal numbers.

-- In the "up" phase, symptoms may include euphoria, restlessness, garbled speech, extreme irritability, lack of concentration, aggressive or risky behavior, substance abuse and increased sexual drive.

-- In the "down" phase, symptoms may include a feeling of emptiness or hopelessness, lack of self-worth, poor appetite, chronic fatigue, forgetfulness and suicidal thoughts.

-- The disorder is divided into several subtypes, depending on the severity and frequency of the mood:

- Bipolar I: Characterized especially by severe manic episodes that can be dangerous and damage relationships or disrupt life at school or work.

- Bipolar II: A milder form in which mood swings are not so severe, nor is the impact on daily life. Instead of full-blown mania, the patient goes through episodes of "hypomania," which is not so extreme. Periods of depression typically last longer than spells of hypomania.

- Cyclothymia: Milder still than Bipolar I and II. Episodes of hypomania and depression whose highs and lows are less severe and less disruptive.

-- Suspected causes of bipolar disorder include an imbalance in hormones or in brain chemicals called neurotransmitters; traumatic events or stress that trigger a bipolar episode; and genetic inheritance (studies have shown that the disorder is more common among people with a bipolar blood relative).

-- Diagnosis of bipolar disorders is complex and sometimes may take years to pin down. Treatment often involves taking mood-changing drugs, supported by longer-term counselling by psychologists, social workers or psychiatric nurses.

-- Famous people who may have been bipolar include Abraham Lincoln, Winston Churchill, Vincent Van Gogh, Friedrich Nietzsche, Ernest Hemingway, Virginia Woolf and Charles Baudelaire.

Katy Perry - ET featuring Kanye West Music Video and Lyrics

Singer Katy Perry recently launched the music video of her song "ET" which features rapper Kanye West.

On this video, Katy Perry's makeup transformed her into an extraterrestrial with reptilian eyes, blue liptick, and floating around in Viktor & Rolf gown.

In an MTV interview, Katy Perry shared how hard the shoot was for her.

"It was, like, five and six hours, each makeup look," Perry said. "It was hard for me! It was really a patience thing for me on this video. But, you know, it's like when you're doing a film. Sometimes you have to do prosthetics, and you have to get really old or turn into an animal or a monster — and that's kind of what this process was."

However, people can't help comparing the brand new music video of Katy Perry to that of Lady Gaga's "Born This Way".

The LA times reportedly said the video was "unoriginal".

"What she does do well is to absorb everything she sees around her and then present it in an ultra-shiny package that never takes itself too seriously."

Wonder Woman 2011 costume redesigned | Blue boots turn red

When the first design of the new Wonder Woman costume surfaced online, it resulted to an outrage from fans. They say it looked like a cheap version of a "sexy" Halloween outfit.

It seems like the producers were listening. In a set of the TV series in Los Angeles, the new Wonder Woman Adrianne Palicki was seen with a pair of red boots (not blue) with no more high hills and a more natural looking pants instead of the shiny one.

Charice covers Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" for Perez Hilton

During the birthday party of celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, a video showing some Hollywood artists greeting the birthday celebrant was shown on a projector. Charice was one of them and she made her birthday greeting special by doing a cover of Lady Gaga's hit "Born This Way".

People at the event loved it so as Perez wherein he called the acapella stint an "amazing version" on his blog.

Sugarland, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, and Nelly Furtado were also featured on the said video.

Perez Hilton's "The Blue Ball Birthday Bash" was held last week in Los Angeles. It was in celebration of his 33rd birthday.

Thia Megia performs for the last time as a contestant on American Idol 10

It was the last time for the Filipino-American Thia Megia to perform as a contestant in American Idol 10 during the Top 11 double-elimination episode, earlier.

Together with fellow finalists Pia Toscano and Hailey Reinhart, Thia performed Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream". Immediately after the performance, Thia was announced as one of the 'bottom three' joining Naima Adebapo and Paul McDonald.

Moments after Jamie Fox and Will.iam did a number, host Ryan Seacrest delivered the verdict. It was Paul who was 'save', ending Thia and Naima's American Idol journey.

Thia Megia joins the list of Filipino-Americans who became finalists of American Idol. The list includes Jasmine Trias, Camille Velasco, and Ramiele Malubay.

Jackie Chan died of heart attack? | Jackie Chan Death Hoax 2011

To those who are alarmed with the trending topic on Twitter "RIP Jackie Chan", here's what you need to know.

It is only a rumor which started after online reports quoted a source from a Los Angeles hospital who said actor Jackie Chan died while promoting Kung Fu Panda 2. The reports said his heavy schedule "was causing extreme stress and putting too much pressure on his heart." It also said U.S. President Barack Obama had issued a statement with his condolences and MTV was planning a special memorial for Chan on Friday.

Jackie Chan's rep has denied the reports that Jackie Chan died of heart attack by posting statements on Jackie Chan's Facebook fan page and Twitter account.

"Jackie is fine and busy preparing for filming his next movie," his Facebook page said.

"Jackie is alive and well. He did not suffer a heart attack and die," "@EyeofJackieChan" tweeted Tuesday morning.

Jackie Chan is not the only actor who has been a target of a death hoax. Justin Bieber, Gordon Lightfoot, and Jeff Goldblum have also been falsely reported dead but of course they are pretty much alive still.

Lea Michele, involved in hit-and-run car accident!

"Glee" star Lea Michele was involved in a hit-and-run on Friday in Los Angeles.

The 24 year-old actress was on her way home after work at around 2 a.m. when she was hit by another car.

People magazine reported the star “was not injured and is fine.”

“Couple of drunk girls hit her, got out of the car, giggled that she was famous, said something like ‘are you drunk, too?’ Then they drove off,” a 'source' told the magazine.

The actress was able to jot down the driver’s license plate number and contacted the police.

This is not the first time Michelle got herself into a car accident.

In a recent interview, Michelle revealed she was involved in a “massive car wreck” minutes before she auditioned for “Glee.”

"For my second audition I got into a massive car wreck, left my crashed car in the street and ran into the audition with cuts and glass in my hair,” she said. “And then on the final audition, I had the worst neck ache from the car accident," the actress added.

American Idol 10 says 'goodbye' to Ashton Jones | Thia Megia saved!

Last Thursday, the Top 13 contestants of the 10th season of the talent search "American Idol" performed a song from their favorite artists. Immediately after the live episode, viewers were given a chance to vote for their picks - to those who does not know this happens every 'performance night' where its results will determine who gets to be eliminated from the show the next episode, the 'results night'.

During yesterday's 'results night' episode, the 'bottom three', the three contestants who got the least number of votes, were announced. They were Ashton Jones, Karen Rodriguez and Haley Reinhart. Ashton Jones who sang the Diana Ross song "When You tell Me That You Love Me" was sent home.

This means that Filipino-American Thia Megia got enough votes to be in the competition still. However, I hope that she would perform better next week and develop a more lively and interesting character so that she'll go along way in the competition.

One of the contestants, Casey Adams, was not present during last night's episode since he was hospitalized. Adam Lambert and Diddy-Dirty Money also guested the show last night.

Britney Spears' newest album "Femme Fatale" track list leaked!

Set to be released on March 29, the track list of the newest album of singer Britney Spears has been leaked online! This seventh studio album of Britney Spears is entitled, "Femme Fatale".


Before this track listing was published online, one of the songs of this album, "Till The World Ends" already leaked. I wonder if it's just part of the promotion and all. But yeah, I guess many still love Britney. I still do. She's one of my crushes back when I was in grade school. Lol. I remember I would kiss our TV screen before when she's on it. Hahaha...

What happened to Clint Jun Gamboa in American Idol 10?

I have been religiously watching the show American Idol 10, lately. I got more excited about this season since two Noypis (Thia Megia and Clint Jun Gamboa) did great on their auditions and they were both selected by the judges to be in the Top 24. Last night's episode, though, which revealed the Top 13 finalists, one of them (Clint Jun) got eliminated and was not even given a chance by the judges to perform for the 3 wildcard slots - the show's viewers voted for the 10 Finalists and the judges chose 3 wildcard contestants.

Oh well, since I think Clint Jun performed well, I think the reason he was voted off from the talent search would have to be the Hollywood Week - Group Round incident. Some viewers must have hated him after he dismissed the charming 15 year-old Jaycee Badeaux from their group during that round. (Read more HERE.)

I am sorry for him. But yeah, Thia is still there! I hope she would do better performances in the next episodes since other contestants are really great as well! She so mahinhin, so Filipina but she should be a little lively I guess since she is still so young.
