Game notes vs. Giants

Tonight’s Preview: The Kelowna Rockets are meeting the Vancouver Giants for the fifth of eight games this season. The Rockets are 2-2-0-0 (1-1-0-0 at home and 1-1-0-0 on road) against the Giants in the first four games. The two teams close out the seasonal series with games February 19th, March 18th and 19th. These two teams are separated by just two points for first place in the BC Division. The Rockets enter tonight’s game with just one regulation win in their last five games (1-3-0-1). Following tonight’s game the Rockets host Spokane Friday before meeting the Giants at Prospera Place Saturday night.

Rockets recent game: Zak Stebner’s second goal of the game, this one in overtime, lifted the Kelowna Rockets to a 3-2 win over the Everett Silvertips Sunday night. Max Adolph also scored in the Rockets 31st win of the season. Jordon Cooke made 33 saves in the victory. The Rockets were out-shot 35-32. Kelowna was 1 for 6 on the power play while the Tips were 0 for 6.
